STAR TREK: KHAN Audio Drama Wraps Production – Here’s What We Know!

Attention, Star Trek fans! The long-awaited scripted audio series STAR TREK: KHAN has officially wrapped production, and things are about to get intense on Ceti Alpha V. Featuring the powerhouse voice talents of Naveen Andrews (Lost) as Khan Noonien Singh and Wrenn Schmidt (For All Mankind) as Lt. Marla McGivers, this upcoming drama is set to dive deep into one of Star Trek’s most infamous and untold stories.

We all know Khan as one of Trek’s most legendary villains—a genetically engineered superhuman whose grudge against Kirk led to one of the greatest cinematic clashes in The Wrath of Khan. But how did he become the vengeful figure we remember? STAR TREK: KHAN will finally explore the years between Space Seed and The Wrath of Khan, shedding light on the chaos, survival, and cunning of Khan and his followers after being abandoned on Ceti Alpha V.

This series promises to challenge everything we thought we knew about Khan. Was he always the ruthless adversary, or did the brutal conditions of exile shape him?  "Space Seed" has shown us the latter, but is there more to Khan than just a super-powered conqueror?What role did Marla McGivers play in his journey? And what really happened on that doomed planet before the Reliant stumbled upon Khan and what was left of his crew?

STAR TREK: KHAN is based on a story by The Wrath of Khan mastermind Nicholas Meyer, with Kirsten Beyer and David Mack penning the script. The series is produced by CBS’ Eye Podcast Productions, Secret Hideout, and Roddenberry Entertainment, with heavy-hitters like Alex Kurtzman, Trevor Roth, and Rod Roddenberry on board as executive producers. It’s directed by Fred Greenhalgh and will be available on all major podcast platforms later this year.
