Star Trek Beams Into San Diego Comic-Con Hall H Saturday July 27th

Plus, details on The Menagerie and Paramount+ Lodge experiences.

Paramount+ is bringing Star Trek back to the legendary Hall H at San Diego Comic-Con in a big way this year! On Saturday, July 27th, cast, crew, producers, and directors from Strange New Worlds, Lower Decks, Starfleet Academy, and Section 31 will take the main stage and will undoubtedly have some secrets and surprises up their sleeves.

Spock in a brand new lab set constructed for Strange New Worlds season three

With Strange New Worlds season three having just wrapped filming, it's safe to assume there won't be too much announced on this front, but you never know. The SNW portion won't be for lack of talent though, with Anson Mount, Rebecca Romijn, and Ethan Peck scheduled to appear with executive producers Alex Kurtzman, Akiva Goldsman, and Henry Alonso Myers.

Tendi leaving the Cerritos to return to Orion at the conclusion of Lower Decks season four

Lower Decks' fifth and final season drops this fall, so expect at least a trailer drop if not more. The series will be well represented with Jack Quaid, Tawney Newsome, Noël Wells, and Jerry O'Connell all in attendance, along with series creator Mke McMahan as well as Alex Kurtzman.

Kerrice Brooks, Bella Shepard, and George Hawkins join Paul Giamatti and Holly Hunter for Starfleet Academy

With new cast members just announced for Starfleet Academy, there is definitely some hype surrounding the show. Executive producers and co-showrunners Alex Kurtzman and Noga Landau will head up the Academy portion of the Hall H panel. Still, with Tawney Newsome writing for the series, expect her to also make an appearance here.

Michelle Yeoh as Philippa Georgiou in the Upcoming Section 31 Paramount+ film

Finally, with Section 31 filming in the rearview, could we get a trailer or a scene at Comic-Con? That's certainly the hope. Cast members Omari Hardwick, Sam Richardson, and Kacey Rohl (Rachel Garrett), along with executive producer Alex Kurtzman and director Olatunde Osunsanmi, will hopefully have a lot more to share on the Paramount+ movie event!

The Star Trek Universe panel takes place on Saturday, July 27th, in Hall H at 1:45 PM PT.

Star Trek Menagerie Booth on the Comic-Con Floor

The Star Trek Menagerie booth at SDCC seems like it might be a must-see attraction this year, featuring creatures from popular Star Trek series like Strange New Worlds, Discovery, Lower Decks, Picard, and TOS. Trekkies who stop by the booth will be able to enjoy an up-close look at these exciting specimens and take part in a photo opportunity. Access to the booth (#3529) requires an SDCC badge.

Paramount+ Brings The Lodge Back to the Gaslamp District for its Second Year

Paramount+ is once again setting up shop in The Lodge, offering an expanded lineup of titles, franchise celebrations, and immersive activations, including a Star Trek t-shirt replicator. The interactive fan experience will be held at the Gaslamp’s Happy Does (340 Fifth Ave, San Diego, CA 92101) and will be open to the public from July 24, 6–10pm, July 25-27, 12–10pm daily, and July 28, 10am–7pm.

Trekkies who can get a Lodge reservation will be able to "step onto a starship" and create their own "Starfleet swag" using a replicator. A touch-screen tablet will be available to customize t-shirts with a selection of Trek franchise insignia. Reservations are not open yet, but you can click here to go to the website and select to be notified when they do become available.
